Government takes over study costs of educational students

The government covers study costs for pedagogical students. The Surinamese government has identified education as a priority and plans to invest in training high-quality teachers. President Jennifer Simons encourages students to consider pedagogical studies in order to contribute to developing a better education system. A house on Tangibaweg completely burned down. Around 11:25 p.m. Saturday evening, officers from the Lelydorp police station responded after receiving reports of a fire at Tangibaweg. Upon arrival, they found a wooden residence already fully engulfed in flames. As a result, the building was entirely destroyed by the fire. Excavated car identified as Rodney Leysner's missing vehicle. Together with the fire department, the police have confirmed that the burned wreckage retrieved from Saramacca belongs to the missing Rodney Leysner. A specialized inspection confirms that it is the vehicle in which the disappeared Rodney Leysner was traveling.
