Suspect Gets Broken Leg After Arrest in Suriname

A 36-year-old man, F.P., suffered a broken shinbone after his arrest for qualified theft. The incident occurred on August 25 at the Central Police Bureau in Paramaribo. Following his arrest, he was struck with a hard object, causing his leg to break. A doctor confirmed the fracture; however, due to the absence of plaster, it couldn't be set immediately.
